What you see, you become! There is such a thing as the eyes of your heart and they can be enlightened. This is the glory realm of God where we behold Him by these eyes and are transformed into His image from glory to glory.

Satan is the engineer of darkness and he binds his prisoners through sin and ignorance. Sin is the highest manifestation of darkness where as ignorance of the life of God is its source. What you don’t know will hurt you!

Our eyes are not mere optical organs but light objects for our bodies. What a man sees, he becomes and what he hears, he does. That is why we need the Word of God which is the Light of Life that illumines everyone who believes.

“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!”
Where there is no vision, the people perish. That is why Jesus healed every blind person He ever met. He cares about your ability to see and create mental pictures.

One of the greatest follies that many Christians have inflicted upon themselves is hearing the Word of God and doing nothing about it. They forfeit the operational power of the Word which causes transfiguration.

As a Christian, you should ask yourself whether the pages of the Bible come alive as you read them because they are His primary place of speaking to us. You ought to believe that all scripture is God-breathed then you will hear His voice as you pour through it.

“Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”
As a child of God, you should know that some things are not qualified to enter your ears. How and what we hear spells out our posture and attitude of reception to the Word of God which matters to eternity.

There are two cardinal senses that introduce a believer to spiritual things. The first is hearing and the other is seeing. Hearing is foundational because it produces faith which gives the basis for our walk in the Spirit.

God never intended for our walk of faith to be futile. He gave us the life of faith as a guarantee of fruitfulness in the earth and eternity. And faith proceeds from hearing the Word of God.
