“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
No man can take credit for salvation because it is entirely on the account of Jesus Christ. The only thing we can do to appreciate His finished work is to receive the free gift of salvation by faith.
